Dr. Nida Rahman is PhD in Economics from Department of Economics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). Her teaching and research areas span Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Trade, and Regional Economic Integration. She has around five years of industry and academic experience. Prior to joining IILM, Dr Rahman-for two years-worked as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. In her previous assignment with the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Dr Rahman worked for the curation of the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) deal. In research, her work on Sino-US Trade War received accolades and was published by the Economic and Political Studies, Taylor and Francis. Dr. Rahman also featured as a Trade Economist in Swayam-NPTEL course on EXIM Procedures and Documentation.
