Launch of the NHRDN-IILM Student's Chapter for Delhi and NCR

Happy to announce the launch of the NHRDN-IILM Student’s Chapter for Delhi and NCR on August 3, 2024! This student chapter marks NHRDN’s fifth initiative and signifies the start of a new era, offering significant benefits for both students and academics. It provides faculty with research opportunities and fosters connections between industry and academia, offering students valuable insights.

We were honored to have NHRDN dignitaries with us, whose valuable insights and contributions were pivotal to the success of this event.

Dhananjay Singh, Director General of NHRDN, led us in pledging to uphold the NHRDN “Code of Conduct,” ensuring high standards of competence, organizational success, integrity, trust, reliability, and continuous development.

Anurag Malik, President NHRDN Delhi NCR, highlighted the association’s goals and its focus on societal contribution and individual development. He stressed the importance of robust industry networks, academic connections, and an enriched curriculum to navigate a dynamic work environment.

Rajeev Dubey, former President of NHRDN, emphasized that this student chapter is a crucial opportunity for IILM and NHRDN to bridge the gap between academia and industry in India. Both organizations must utilize their roles, focus on sustainability—people, planet, and profit—and promote continuous learning while upholding the values of “Satya, Prem, and Seva.”

Prem Singh, National President of NHRDN, explained that this new chapter is being created to address the crucial role of soft skills—such as teamwork, leadership, and decision-making. The chapter will offer students valuable opportunities for internships, projects, and mentorship through NHRDN’s extensive network.

Bhavna Batra, Secretary NHRDN Delhi NCR chaired a panel discussion on “The Evolving World of Work and Career,” featuring insights from Sonal Kapur Sinha, HR Head, ESME Consumer; Tanuj Gupta, HR Head, S&P Global; and Ankur Sethi, Founder and CEO, Corporate Shiksha.
