Prof. Gurmani Chadha is an accomplished academic specializing in finance and sustainability. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and a Master’s degree from Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, with her Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Finance and Sustainability from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. She has extensive professional experience, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the PGDM level and Area Chair (Finance) at the Institute of Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor at GGSIPU, as an Audit Assistant at Deloitte & Touché Tohmatsu (BIG 4), and gained finance experience as a Finance Intern at Oriental Bank of Commerce.

Prof. Chadha’s research focuses on sustainability/ESG reporting, sustainable finance, corporate governance, and the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into accounting, finance and management domains. Her software skills include STATA, CiteSpace , R, Meta-Essentials and CMA Meta-Analysis Software. She has published extensively in high-impact journals, including those ranked in SCIE Q1 and ABDC categories, such as Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Journal of Accounting Literature, Managerial Finance, and International Journal of Finance & Economics.

She has presented her research at prominent international conferences, including the International Conference on Sustainable Development, IIM Bodhgaya, and SRCC. Additionally, Prof. Chadha has completed the Sustainability Ambassador Program organized by MNIT, Jaipur, and attended a Summer School on Sustainability Management and Reporting at Universita Di Pavia.

As a UGC NET SRF/JRF holder, she is also a dedicated reviewer for prestigious journals like the International Journal of Disclosure and Governance, Accounting Research Journal, Business Analyst Journal and the International Journal of Managerial Finance. Her teaching and research interests lie in finance and sustainability, further enhancing her profile as a key contributor to the academic community.
