I have submitted my Ph.D. thesis in the Finance Area at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. I have completed her B.com (H) from Shri Ran College of Commerce (SRCC) and M.com from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, where I consistently ranked among the top students in my class.

I work in Corporate Finance, and my Ph.D. thesis focused on the impact of ownership structure on dividend policy and firm value of Indian listed companies. As a dedicated researcher in my domain, my research work has been published (many are under review) in top-tier finance journals, and I have won awards at reputed international conferences. Prior to joining IILM, I worked as an assistant professor at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi University.

With a solid foundation in financial theory and a commitment to excellence, I try to bring fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to the classroom. I am committed to fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment and adding to the academic community. My teaching and research interests are Financial Management, Project Appraisal, Corporate Dividend Policy, and International Finance.

In addition to my academic achievements, she has been actively involved in extracurricular activities, showcasing my ability to balance academic and non-academic pursuits effectively.

Research Interests



My research interests encompass Corporate Finance and various corporate decisions, with a particular emphasis on their connection to agency and governance frameworks. My primary focus is on corporate decision-making, especially in the context of dividend payment decision and behavior. I seek to deepen insights into how various contextual elements—such as ownership, governance structures, reporting standards, economic conditions, and the broader institutional landscape—shape managerial decision-making and overall strategic priorities.
