Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi is a distinguished management educator of the country who is currently Director General of IILM, New Delhi and Pro Chancellor, IILM University, Greater Noida. For almost 25 years (1999-2024), he has been the Director of BIMTECH, Greater Noida, a leading private sector BSchool established by B K Birla Group. Dr Chaturvedi is also the Founder Trustee & Chairman, Advisory Committee of Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI). He has more than 50 years of experience in Indian Higher Education. He has been Director at AICTE, a statutory body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Being a renowned management educationist, he has been deeply involved with national bodies like EPSI, AIMA, NHRDN, AIMS, UNGCNI and the Indian Management Conclave (IMC). Dr Chaturvedi is on the Board of Governors of several prominent universities and higher education institutions. He has authored and published eight books on higher education and socio-economic issues. In 2025, AIMS has conferred him Ravi J Mathai National Fellow Award. This is most prestigious award in Indian Management Education which has been given to luminaries like Prof. Ishwar Dayal, Prof. Ramaswami P Aiyar, Fr E Abraham and Dr Pritam Singh etc.
